Bloomberg news has reported that GM plans to make 60,000 Volt Electric cars for their inaugural year on the market. The plug-in hybrid concept car from GM named Volt is commonly referred to as an electric car rather than a hybrid. The design of the Volt is different from other plug-in hybrids in the sense that the car has a small 3-cylinder 1.0L Turbocharged gasoline engine which is connected to a generator to charge the batteries. This comes in handy for long distance driving and extends the range of the car to about 600 miles. The gasoline engine can be configured to run on any fuel type such as E-85, Gasoline or even Bio-diesel. There are even talks of GM introducing a hydrogen fuel cell version in the future.

According to GM, the Volt can go up to 40 miles daily on a single electric charge. For people whose commuting distance is less than 20 miles each way, technically they could run the car entirely on electric energy thereby saving an estimated 500 gallons of gasoline each year. When you get home, the car can be plugged into any 110V household electrical outlet for charging the batteries overnight and it takes about 6 hours to fully recharge. The car goes from 0-60 in 8 seconds and has a top speed of 120 mph. GM plans to price these cars at just under $30,000. According to Bloomberg, the fact that GM plans to manufacture 60,000 Volt cars in the first year indicates that they will be able to price it competitively.

Hey guys! You know what I think? I think that all written here is bullshit, real lie. They are making us believe it’s true, they are trying to express it like it was in reality. Don’t believe it if you are not insane! There’s nothing special in this site, they just express regular news with unusual words. They can make something shocking out of anything! Don’t trust them!
