Toyota has announced pricing on it’s 2008 Camry models and the best part is that the Hybrid version is priced $1,000 less than in 2007. The starting price on the 2008 Camry Hybrid is $25,200 which, Toyota says, is about 3.8 percent lower than the pricing in 2007 for the same model. The gasoline model of the Camry will cost about $100 more than in 2007.

The Camry Hybrid is equipped with standard features such as Smart key system, dual-zone automatic climate control and a 6-speaker, AM/FM/CD audio system. Upgrade options include the navigation system, 16-inch alloy wheels and upgraded JBL audio system. The Camry Hybrid uses a 4-cyclinder gasoline engine coupled with a 650V electric motor and a 245V NiMH traction battery.
The Camry Hybrid specifies the fuel economy at 40 mpg in the city.
