Dane County Fair in Madison, Wisconsin was the venue of the 2007 Hybridfest. Hybrid car owners from all over the US and Canada descended on Madison to attend the Hybrid fest along with sponsors, automobile manufacturers, environmentalists, etc. Hybrid fest was also the largest gathering of Plug-in hybrids in the nation and included ethanol, biodiesel, hydrogen and other types of cars on display.
The participants also included Hypermilers from around the nation competing in Mileage challenges to see who can squeeze the most mileage out of their cars.
